James Maslow, Renee Olstead Join Cast Of ‘Sherlock Holmes’ Stage Production – Chicago Sun

 James Maslow (“Big Time Rush,” “Dancing with the Stars”)  has joined the cast of the stage production of “Sherlock Holmes,” it was announced today. Maslow replaces the previously announced Michael Trevino in the role of Dr. John Watson. David Arquettestars as the title character in the national touring production of the late Greg Kramer’s original adaptation inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic tales.

Also announced today, Renee Olstead (“Still Standing,” “The Secret Life of the American Teenager:) will star as the well-to-do-American, Lady Irene St. John. Both Olstead and Maslow will be making their theatrical stage debuts in the play, directed by Andrew Shaver.

The cast also features Kyle Gatehouse as Professor Moriarty, with Patrick Costello, Graham Cuthbertson, Matt Gagnon, Barbara Gordon, Karl Graboshas, Trent Pardy and Amy Rutherford.
